New! André Tchaikowsky Video A recent (April, 2012) YouTube posting from Netherlands shows André playing the last few minutes of Chopin's Andante spianato et grande polonaise brillante op. 22 in 1974. The entire video is 24.03; the Andre Tchaikowsky portion, with Szymon Goldberg conducting, is from 2:35 to 5:00. Also featured is David Zinman. Tchaikowsky as Pianist The following examples are typical of André Tchaikowsky, pianist. While it is beyond the scope of this website to try and include all possible recordings, these examples provide a good glimpse of his artistry at the keyboard. The recordings are in chronological order starting with early performances and ending with his last recital and last concerto concert. The last concerto concert on May 10, 1982 - the Chopin Piano Concerto No. 1 - holds special interest since he died only 6 weeks later on June 26, 1982.
